About Trish
Life’s stress and chaos can easily steal our joy. But God wants us to enjoy the journey (Psalm 118:24). Author and speaker Trish Berg reminds women to enjoy each moment as a gift from God.
Trish has been featured on numerous regional and national radio and television programs including ABC World News Tonight, Focus on the Family, Moody’s Midday Connection, The Harvest Show, NewsChannel 5, 95.5 The Fish, 103.3 WCRF and That’s Life with Robin Swoboda. Trish has been a feature speaker for Hearts at Home and MOPS International, and enjoys speaking at church events, women’s retreats and conferences all over the country.
Her syndicated newspaper column is published by Graphic Publications and circulates to over 80,000 families weekly in The Bargain Hunter, Wooster Weekly News and online for www.Christian-Mommies.com. As a freelance writer, she has written for Today’s Christian Woman, CBN.com, Focus on the Family, MOMSense, Parenting, P31 WOMAN, and Hearts at Home. She was also featured as a mom expert in Woman’s World Magazine.
As a graduate of Baldwin-Wallace College, Trish then earned her MBA in Marketing from John Carroll University. She is currently an adjunct professor for The Univeristy of Akron-Wayne College and Malone University. She left her marketing career for full-time motherhood in 1995, and launched her writing and speaking career in 2001.
Trish has been married to her college sweetheart, Mike, since 1992. Mike played football for Baldwin-Wallace College and currently teaches 7th and 8th grade math at Dalton Intermediate School. He is a junior high football coach and the Dalton High School Varsity Baseball Coach. Together, Mike and Trish keep busy with sports and family activities on their rural Ohio cattle farm where they are raising their four children and lots of cows.
The Berg Family
The Bergs live on a 200 acre family cattle farm. Their kids are the eighth generation of Bergs to live in their century old home. Trish and Mike truly enjoy the adventures that their kids have brought into their lives. Some of their favorite activities include summer vacations on Johnson’s Island at Grandma and Grandpa’s cottage, cheering for Daddy’s Bulldog baseball team on sunny spring afternoons and Helping with the farm work, especially feeding the cattle and riding on the Gator.
